The Management of Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ADSPHCDA) has concluded arrangements to recruit suitably qualified health workers, who are interested to fill the vacant positions in the Primary Health Care Centres in the State.

The recruitment is in line with the state government’s efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery at the grassroots, thereby increasing access to quality primary healthcare services for the residents.

Interested applicants must have a relevant certificate in any of the accredited disciplines or cadres from a recognized institution. The submission of applications shall begin on the 1st of May, 2026 and end on the 10th of May, 2026.

Available Cadres for ADSPHCDA Recruitment 2026

The 2026 recruitment covers multiple health related cadres to ensure that Primary Health Care Centres are adequately staffed in the state. The approved cadres include:

• Community Health Officer (CHO)
• Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW).
• Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW)
• Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT).
• Pharmacy Technicians
• Health Information Management
• Dental Technician
• Health Education
• Environmental Health
• Community Midwifery
• Nursing
• Nursing/midwifery
• Nutrition/Dietetics

Eligibility and General Requirements

• Applicants must hold a valid certificate in the field of their choice from a recognized institution.
• Candidates must be willing to work in any Local Government Area (LGA), to which they are posted as the postings will be made on the basis of operational needs.

Successful Candidates Appointment Announcement: 28th May, 2026.

Issuance of Appointment Letters and Relevant Documentation: 1st to 5th June, 2026.
