
FG Shortlists Candidates for GEEP Loan FarmerMoni Program
The National Social Investment Programme Agency (National Social Investment Programme Agency) has started releasing the list of shortlisted candidates for thr GEEP FarmerMoni Programme. The agency has also commenced the data verification of applicants eligible to receive the ₦300,000 interest-free loan under the Federal Government’s GEEP 3.0 initiative.
This verification is an important step in the FarmerMoni scheme as it authenticates submitted applicant information before final approval and disbursement of loans. The programme targets small-scale traders, farmers, artisans, and micro-entrepreneurs who require financial assistance to develop and maintain their enterprises.
Release of Shortlisted Candidates Across LGAs
The FG GEEP FarmerMoni shortlisted applicants are currently being released in phases in some selected Local Government Areas in Nigeria. Instead, it is not being published at once but is being released in phases for effective screening and coordination at the local levels.
Applicants are expected to visit their various Local Governments Secretariate to check their names are contained in the list of those to be verified. In many LGAs, the officials have posted the names of those who have been shortlisted on notice boards or offices designated with the Farmer Moni verification exercise.
Candidates who did not find their names during the first visit should remain patient and check again as additional batches are still being released.

Applicants that have received the notification are expected to visit the portal and enter their registered phone number alongside the last four digits of their BVN. This is to enable the system to re-confirm the application details.

GEEP FarmerMoni Verification Requirements
Applicants must provide certain documents and information to ensure successful completion of the FarmerMoni verification process.
The FarmerMoni Documents & Information Requirements include:
- NIN slip
- BVN number
- Phone number used during registration.
These details will be verified with those provided during the application process. Applicants are therefore advised to provide accurate and consistent information.
Important Notes for Applicants
The FarmerMoni beneficiary list is slowly being released in batches, and those that are not shortlisted in a particular phase are not automatically rejected. Many others who are eligible will appear in the following releases.
Applicants should also be wary of misinformation and fraudulent messages. There is no payment required for verification, processing or approval under the FarmerMoni Programme.

Verified applicants will then be subjected to final approval once verification procedures are successfully completed. Successful beneficiaries are then subjected to further instructions regarding loan disbursement and usage guidelines.
