NPF 2025 Recruitment Invited and Not Invited Status Explained
The Nigeria Police Force 2025 Recruitment Portal is now active and accessible to all applicants. Therefore, all applicants are encouraged to login to the Recruitment Portal to check their status if they are invited or no invited to the written test examination.
Candidates who did not meet the requirements during the physical screening and credential verification have been disqualified and will not be invited for the written exams.
Only applicants who were successful in the physical screening exercise will receive the SMS test message invitation.
Candidates who received the test message and who didn’t are advised to visit the recruit portal npfapplication.psc.gov.ng and used their NIN to check their status.
Nigeria Police Recruitment Written Examination Invitation Card
All the shortlisted candidates must print their examination invitation slip because it is mandatory for examination halls. Candidate’s without a printed examination slip will not be allowed to sit for the test.
The examination invitation card has the following details:
- Date of examination Time for examination.
- The venue for the examination
- Invitation status
Candidates are advised to ensure they carefully look through the details of their examination slip, to avoid any confusion on the examination day.

Common Issues Candidates are Facing and their Reasons
There have been various error or status messages that many applicants have given while reporting on their recruitment status. Below are the explanation behinds some of the issues and shortlist status that candidates are facing.
1. “Application Does Not Exist” Or “Candidate Aptitude Error – Candidate Qualified With The Given Credentials Could Not Be Fetched”
- Your details were not found among those qualified for the written examination.
- You were not shortlisted for the next step.
- Another reason could be that the entered NIN differs from the one used during registration.
- You did not fill out or submitted your application.
- The portal may be facing a temporary technical issue or server error.
What You Should Do
- Make sure your NIN is correct and complete (11 digits).
- Check wether your registration was successful.
- Try again later because this can be a purely technical issue from the portal.
- Errors after several attempts, it means that you were not shortlisted.
2. Disqualification Messages on the Dashboard.
However, some candidates who were able to access their dashboards received the following message:
“Be informed that following the credential and physical screening assessment conducted earlier, you did not meet the Requirements for further consideration in the 2025 Recruitment Exercise.
REASON(S):
- Under Height
- No Trade Test
- Disqualified
- Not Fit
- Physical Evaluation Failed, Amputation.
- Over Age
- Not Invited
If an applicant received any of the notifications above, they have been officially disqualified, and their recruitment journey in 2025 Nigeria Police Force recruitment exercise is over.
