INECPRES Ad-hoc Staff Portal for 2026 Ekiti State Governorship Election
The Independent National Electoral Commission (Independent National Electoral Commission) has opened the INECPRES Ad-hoc Staff Recruitment Portal for 2026 Ekiti State Governorship Election. This is to inform suitably qualified candidates and members of the public that interested can now submit their applications.
The INECPRES portal is designed for the registration ofadhoc staff who will work during the conduct of the election.
Positions available under this recruitment include supervisory presiding officers (SPOs), presiding officers (POs), assistant presiding officers (APOs I, II, and III), registration area technical support staff (RATECHS), and registration area Centre (RAC) managers for the 2026 Ekiti State Governorship Election.
The INECPRES portal has been activated from Saturday, 25th April 2026 at 8:00am and will be closed by Monday, 18th May 2026 at 12 midnight (according to INEC). All those interested should ensure that they complete their registration within the stipulated period, as no late submission will be entertained.
Eligibility Criteria for Ad-hoc Staff Online Recruitment (INECPRES) for 2026 Ekiti State Governorship Election
1. Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs)
Qualifications and Eligibility:
- Federal Public/Civil Service and Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs): Permanent staff only on Grade Level (GL) 10–14.
- INEC Staff: Registration Area Officers (RAOs) and other permanent INEC staff not involved with any other election responsibilities on GL 08–14.
2. Presiding Officers (POs) and Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs I, II, III)
qualifications and eligibility
- National Youth Service Corps (NYSC): Serving corps members. Former NYSC Members: Not later than four years after the National Youth Service (representing 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 service years).
- INEC Staff: INEC permanent staff on Grade Level 07 and 08.
- MDAs (Federal and state): Permanent staffs with OND qualification or on GL 07-10.
- Federal Tertiary Institution Students: Penultimate students of Federal tertiary institutions.
3. Registration Area Centre (RAC) Managers
Qualifications and Eligibility:
- The school/institution hosting the RAC or Super RAC: The head of the school or a suitable staff member of the institution on Grade Level 07 and above.
4. Registration Area Technical Support Staff (RATECHS)
Qualifications and Eligibility:
- INEC Staff Only: Appropriate INEC ICT staff at State Offices and Headquarters who are free of any other electoral assignments.
General Requirements for INECPRES Ad-hoc Staff Application
All applicants are required to meet the following conditions before applying:
- Applicants should not be members of any political party.
- Applicants must not have shown or expressed support for any political party or political candidate.
- Applicants must live in the chosen state except for RATECHS who are INEC employees.

INECPRES Portal for 2026 Ekiti State Governorship Election:
Applicants using laptops or desktop computers can access the web version through the portal URL directly at pres.inecnigeria.org.
There is an Android mobile application available for mobile users at www.presmobile.inecnigeria.org, or one can use the App Store.
Registrants are advised to submit the correct information during registration because false or misleading information may lead to disqualification.
