University of Jos 2025 recruitment Online CBT Shortlist Notification
The University of Jos (UNIJOS) has begun sending CBT stage notifications to applicants who applied for for the 2025 academic and non-teaching recruitment. Candidates are advised to check their email for their shortlist status and details regarding the proctored examination.
The online CBT examination is scheduled to commence from 4th May, 2026. All thr Shortlisted applicants have been given specific dates, times and batches and they must adhere to the schedule communicated to them via email. Failure to log in at the assigned time may lead to disqualification from the recruitment.
Below is a sample notification email sent to one of the shortlisted candidates for the CBT stage:
We are pleased to inform you that you have been shortlisted for the next stage of the University of Jos 2025 recruitment exercise, which is the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
Your Scheduled Test Detail:
Date: 4th May, 2026
Time: 12:45 P.M – 1:45 P.M.
Batch: Set 4 – Day 1
The notification additionally makes clarifications about the CBT examination’s conduct. The test will be conducted online and it will be proctored fully, meaning there is an online live invigilating throughout the examination.
Candidates are required to use a computer system equipped with an active webcam and microphone. Mobile phones, tablets or systems without these components may be disallowed.
Applicants must also make sure that they have a stable internet connection before the examination commences. The email explicitly mentions that the candidate’s camera should remain on during the test to enable the AI proctor to monitor the room and ensure all test rules are adhered to.
Shortlisted candidates are strongly advised to test their devices ahead of time, ensure a quiet environment and log in early on the exam day to avoid any technical issues. Candidates found to engage in any form of malpractice or violation of CBT guidelines shall be automatically disqualified.
