Nigeria Police 2025 Recruitment CBT Date and Printing of Exam Slip

The Nigeria Police 2025 constable recruitment has reached the next stage as the Police Service Commission (PSC) has officially announced the date for the written examination. According to the commission, this is scheduled to hold from April 28th to April 30th, 2026.

This development comes after the physical and credential screening stage was successfully conducted nationwide. The PSC characterized the test as another necessary candidate assessment to make sure only qualified applicants advance to further recruitment stages.

Written Exams to be Conducted Nationwide

The aptitude test will be conducted in all the 36 states plus the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). There are exams centres, which ensure that candidates can take the examination within their states or environs. Therefore, to ensure fairness to all applicants and reduce travel stress, there have been approved CBT centres selected to conduct the examination in the candidates’ states or around them.

The examination will test candidates on basic reasoning, general awareness and the ability to solve problems on Police duties. It is for this reason that candidates are advised to prepare for this test well in advance to enable them perform better as this will largely determine performance in choosing candidates who will proceed to the next recruitment stage.

NPF Recruitment Written Exams Slip Printing Portal

The Police Service Commission also announced that the slip printing portal https://npfapplication.psc.gov.ng  will be opened before the examination dates. This slip will have details such as:

  • Date of examination
  • Exams centre and venue
  • Time for reporting
  • Candidate’s information

When the portal is activated, applicants will be able to print their slips and check all the instructions contained on the slip.

Key Advice for Applicants

Applicants are advised to follow only official updates released by the Police Service Commission and other authorized government platforms. The commission also frowned at false information being circulated on social media and warned victims not to patronize individuals or groups claiming they have the influence to alter the recruitment outcomes.

It is important to note that the Nigeria Police recruitment exercise is completely free, and no payment is required at all stages. All cases of money demands should be reported to the appropriate authority through proper channels.

What Candidates should do Now

Having established exams dates, candidates should prepare for the examinations by acquainting themselves with basic aptitude test questions and ensuring that they are ready for the tests ahead of time. Also, they should keep track of official statements concerning the announcement of the shortlisted candidates and the exact venues.
