About the Technical Graduate Trainee Programme
The Technical Graduate Trainee Programme is a high impact, structured development programme directly tailored to attract, develop and retain young career employees with maximum technical aptitude. It involves relevant competencies and includes a hands on skills development process required for trainees’ long term career success within the energy industry.

What Graduate Trainees will Gain
The core technical competencies, engineering problem solving capability and requisite professional skills will be developed among the Graduate Trainees. These competencies will enable them to transit into Seplat Energy’s highly technical and operationally demanding roles.
They will work side by side with experienced professionals and receive guidance and knowledge from experts in the field. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are expected to meet the following requirements to qualify for Seplat Energy 2026 Technical Graduate Trainee Programme:
- A Bachelor’s degree at a minimum (Second Class Upper, 2:1 Division) from a recognized university in a relevant pure science or engineering discipline.
- Five (5) O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language, all at once.
- A successful completion of NYSC supported with a valid discharge certificate or exemption letter.
Candidates that do not meet these criteria may not be shortlisted further in the recruitment process.
