Katsina State 2026 Teachers Recruitment CBT Exams Slip Printing
This is to inform all candidates who applied for the Katsina State 2026teachers recruitment for public schools (Secondary and Primary) that the list of shortlisted candidates for CBT examination has been released. Applicants are advised to visit the Katsina SEMIS recruitment portal to confirm their status and get further information concerning the exams.
The Katsina State Government through the State Education Management Information System (SEMIS) has released the name of candidates who met the requirements for the next stage of the recruitment exercise. This stage is very important as only candidates whose names appear on the shortlist get to participate in the CBT examination set for the 2026 teachers recruitment exercise.
How to Check Katsina State 2026 Teachers Recruitment Shortlist
Candidates are to check the Katsina State 2026 teachers recruitment shortlist as follows:
- Visit the Katsina SEMIS Recruitment Portal:
https://katsinasemis.com/shortlisted
- Select application category applied during the online application. e.g SUBEB (Primary) or MBASE (Secondary).
- Wait for the list of shortlisted applicants to appear.
The names of each successful applicant will be shown alongside a unique application code, this code shall be used during the CBT examination.
Applicants whose names appear on the list have been successfully shortlisted and are qualified to proceed to the examination stage. Applicants with unmatched names in the shortlist are not eligible and disallowed from sitting for the CBT examination.
How to Download the Katsina State 2026 Teachers Recruitment Exam Slip
Shortlisted candidates are to download and print their examination slip before the CBT date. The examination slip contains important information such as the date, time, and examination centre (location) for the examination.

- Enter your application code correctly.
- Input the email address used during registration (application).
- Print out your examination slip by clicking on “Retrieve Slip”.
The examination will be taken as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates are required to present a printout of their examination slip and a valid means of identification at the assigned examination centres.
It is important to note that electronic devices such as mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, or similar gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Disqualification may occur for any candidate found in possession of prohibited items.
Only candidates who are shortlisted and present the required documents shall be allowed to sit for the CBT. Applicants are advised to carry out all instructions fully to ensure a smooth and successful examination experience.
